Families Living Well in a Digital World

Families Living Well in a Digital World

About

Technology is part of everyday family life — but it can also create new challenges. Families Living Well in a Digital World supports parents and carers to better understand children’s online experiences and how technology impacts behaviour, development and wellbeing.

The program explores healthy strategies to navigate the world of technology with your family, all whilst encouraging connection, enhancing communication, boundaries, balance and building healthy relationships.

What will I learn?

  • A deeper understanding of how children view technology
  • Practical strategies to set healthy boundaries around screen use
  • Tools to support emotional wellbeing, sleep and focus in a digital age
  • Confidence to have calm, constructive conversations about technology
  • Age‑appropriate approaches for different stages of child development

Who is it for?

  • Parents and carers of children and young people
  • Foster carers and kinship carers
  • Families wanting practical, non‑judgemental guidance around technology use
