Circle of Security® Parenting
About
Circle of Security® Parenting (Abbreviated) is an evidence‑based program that helps parents and carers build stronger, more secure relationships with their children by understanding their emotional and attachment needs.
Using a simple visual framework known as the “Circle of Security,” the program supports adults to recognise when children need comfort and reassurance, and when they are ready to explore the world with confidence. Participants are guided to reflect on their own responses, tune in to children’s cues, and respond with greater empathy, confidence and care.
Through this approach, Circle of Security® Parenting (Abbreviated) helps strengthen the sense of safety and connection children need to develop healthy emotions, resilience and trust in relationships.
