We are proud to share that CatholicCare has been named a finalist in the Outstanding Community Organisation category at the 2026 Illawarra Business Awards.

This recognition is particularly meaningful as it is the first time we have entered the awards, and our first time being recognised as a finalist.

For more than 45 years, we have walked alongside individuals, families and communities across the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands and Macarthur regions, providing support through life’s challenges and opportunities. Being named a finalist is a reflection of the dedication, compassion and commitment of our staff, volunteers and partner organisations who make this work possible every day.

While we are honoured by this recognition, it also belongs to the communities we serve and the people who place their trust in us. Together, we have built strong connections, created positive outcomes and supported thousands of people to thrive.

We look forward to celebrating alongside other finalists and are grateful for the opportunity to showcase the impact of community-focused organisations across the Illawarra.
