What are Private Services?
Private Services provides home care for older Australians beyond what is available within the Government-funded Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) or Home Care Packages.
Can I access Private Services?
If you are not eligible for government subsidies or would like the option to pay for additional home care services, Private Services are for you.
What are the benefits of Private Services?
Private Services provide you with greater flexibility in the care that you receive, all while remaining in the comfort of your own home. Private Services also avoids undergoing any means testing that is required with government-funded aged care packages.
Some clients also utilise Private Services while they wait for their CHSP or Home Care Package to be allocated, or as a way to boost their package, with the additional hours of Private Services.
