CatholicCare Wollongong is excited to announce a new partnership with Y Careers, an innovative social enterprise dedicated to creating job opportunities for young Australians in the education and care sectors. As a subsidiary of The Y (formerly YMCA), Y Careers aims to address youth underemployment and the need for skilled workers in childcare, aged care, and disability support.

Through this collaboration, CatholicCare Wollongong has created two traineeship roles within the childcare sector. One trainee will focus on Outside of School Hours Care, working towards a Certificate III in Outside of School Hours Care, while the other will concentrate on Early Childhood Education, pursuing a Diploma in this field.

We are thrilled to welcome these trainees and look forward to supporting their professional growth. This partnership aligns with our commitment to fostering meaningful employment opportunities and enhancing the quality of care we provide to our community.
