No. CatholicCare staff are from varied backgrounds and are selected for their skill, experience and commitment to the vision and values of the agency.

Yes. The selection criteria is found in the position description. The position description will help you understand the responsibilities and tasks required in the job. You will need to address the criteria by describing what you can do and how you do it. This could be in relation to your current/previous positions or experience.
How long will it take to be advised if I have an interview for a position that I have applied for?
If you are successful in gaining an interview with CatholicCare you will be notified generally within 3 weeks of the closing date.

CatholicCare supports students from a number of different disciplines to get the much-needed practical experience necessary to fulfil their course requirements.

Will I receive supervision as part of my placement?
Yes. If you are studying a clinical course, you will be allocated a clinical supervisor who will support and mentor you through your placement.
How much do I pay for my supervision?
If you are undertaking your placement at CatholicCare, supervision is usually provided free of charge. If you are completing your placement elsewhere but wish to attend CatholicCare for supervision, the fee is $100 per hour.
